The Best of Mister Metokur on The Killstream

In honor of tonight’s big debate between Mister Metokur and Dick Masterson, I thought it would be fun to go through some of Metokur’s greatest Killstream hits. This is not an exhaustive list, since some of the moments have been scrubbed from YouTube and only exist in my personal archives (yes, I will get those up someday), but most of them are out there for public consumption.

The Healstream

This is the infamous Healstream episode. In case you don’t remember, our all-time all star cast raised over $26,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, only to see all that money returned because of the disgusting Yoree Koh and her editors at the Wall Street Journal.

Sargon of Akkad Live, + Mister Metokur

This next one was the culmination of months and months of beef with Carl Benjamin, aka Sargon of Akkad. After ducking Metokur for months, I finally got the both of them on the same stream at the same time. It certainly goes down as one of the most memorable Killstreams of all-time.

BetterHelp Scam Scandal (Boogie2988, Metokur, Keemstar, & Warski ALL LIVE)

Next on the list is one of our biggest and most important shows ever, the one where we abosulty gutted the BetterHelp scam artists that were swarming YouTube at the time. Actually, I think this might have ended up being one of the major reasons that we were targeted for deletion. YouTube and Slutty Susan don’t take too kindly to you when you make cash cows like Philly DeFranco look like con artists.

PewDiePie vs BetterHelp, Metokur vs Some Dude, Warski vs Tonka, + Zulu Alliance

This next one was set up on a whim, as many Killstreams have been. Some Dude on Twitter had been nibbling at Jim’s heels for quite some time, and finally, the match was set for our show. The guy came out attacking me, first, and then got absolutely destroyed by Metokur himself. Many people have told me that this is one of their favorite episodes, and I would have to agree with that myself.

The Corinne Era

Now we head to the Corinne Era. There are so many good choices to pick from, including the infamous Compton stream that we promoted for an entire month. But these two are my favorties. The first one includes Metokur, Josh from KiwiFarms, Dick Masterson, Mumkey Jones, and the Killstream Trio. It’s regarded as one of the better moments from the early run of the Killstream revival in 2018.

In the second helping, we have Jim going one-on-one with Corinne herself. I still laugh when I think about how mad she was during this showdown. She still whines about it to this day…no lie.

MundaneMatt Can’t Melt Steel Beams (aka The Boulderstream)

Do I really need to say anything about this one? It’s the most famous and celebrated episode in the history of the show…and it ruined the career of Matt Jarbo, which was a nice bonus.

Masterson + Metokur Mega Show

This next one took place the day after the infamous Boulderstream. In fact, this was the big show we had been promoting all week. Luckily, we had the two legends scheduled for the day after the storm. Speaking as the host of the show, this is one of my all-time personal favorites.

Tonka Can’t Melt Steel Beams

This one has another amazing cast of characters, as we watch Tonkasaw set himself on fire in front of thousands just days before his scheduled bout with Andy Warski in Knoxville. We had been promoting the fight for months, and days before it was scheduled to happen, Tonka tried to change his name and submit fake documents to the promoters. Nick Rekieta absolutely ruined him for good on that night, and we were all the happier for it.

Metokur/Masterson/Pesos/Rekieta Megashow

After a months long hiatus from the Killstream, Jim returned last November and was joined by three other future Killstream Hall of Famers: Dick Masterson, Dame Pesos, and Nick Rekieta. I really enjoyed this one, and it was one of my favorites from last falls revival period.

The Baked Alaska Intervention, Nick Fuentes vs James Allsup

Last but not least, we have the show that jumpstarted the Killstream and made us known to all of you. It wasn’t the beginning of the program, but for all intents and purposes, it set the tone for the current show and put us on the map. This show will always have a special place in my heart, because without it, the rest of the shows on this list would not have happened.

Tonight, Mister Metokur joins us once again to take on Dick Masterson in a bloodsports about the current coronavirus shutdown. When it ends, I will come back to this article and place it here. Also, again, this is by no means a full list. There were many other great Jim appearances…but I have to go prepare for the show now lol. I hope you all enjoyed this stroll down memory lane.
